3/22/2014 – Total Miles 106.7

We covered about 16 miles today to get into Franklin ahead of the bad weather coming in tonight. I can’t believe I didn’t just collapse on the trail my feet hurt so bad.

Looks like we will take a zero to heal or wounds and pick up a few gear items we will need going into some cold weather. We will head back out in the snow and cold soon enough… Can’t take 3 days off.

You broke 100 miles! Woo Hoo! Theres a milestone! You look good, buddy. Keep up the good
work! Heather ran 13.1 miles in Dallas today with Vicky. She said she could sympathize with you. I told her to sleep in the back yard now and gnaw on a deer carcass for dinner. She laughed and went to soak in a hot tub. Her sympathy only goes so far.
